As a young man, I violated all the rules in regards to my health. My reward was non-stop visits to the doctor's office, particularly in the last ten years. However, when the doctors kept pushing me to check into the hospital, I finally conceded to give Frequency Foods a try. I wasn’t doing so well. I had symptoms like thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, dizziness, and cloudy vision. My doctor called me after I went in for some bloodwork as he was quite alarmed by the results. He told me to go directly to the emergency room and to check myself into the hospital. I have been taking Frequency Foods products off and on now for years. For some reason, I just wouldn’t get consistent with them. It became obviously necessary to implement some discipline. I had yeast so bad it was growing on the surface of my skin. MORE than a Testimony - Life Giving PRObiotics NOT ANTIbiotics
Last December I chose to replace a faulty dental bridge with a dental implant. Step 1 was to have oral surgery which meant the periodontist would make an incision in my gum, drill a hole into my jaw bone, and insert a titanium screw. Step 2 was a three month healing period. Step 3 was the placement of the crown. The periodontist prescribed antibiotics 2 days before the surgery and 3 days after to prevent infection. This dentist has done over 3000 of these procedures and to his knowledge everyone has followed his instructions and taken the antibiotics.
I know that my health and well being are my responsibility! I have used Frequency Foods products for years and routinely dial into the company’s Tuesday evening product/health education calls. Because of what I have learned, I knew I would follow a different protocol and I did NOT fill the prescription. Looking at the words, antibiotic and probiotic, the spelling tells the truth. ANTI is a preposition meaning “opposed to, against” and PRO means “in favor of, for.” I chose to use a product “in favor of my body.”
I take 2 scoops of Life Giving Probiotics (LGP) every day so 2 days before the surgery I loaded up with extra LGP. I took it 3 times a day – I wanted lots of the ‘good PRO guys’ in my system. The morning of the surgery I took an additional 5 scoops of LGP. After the surgery and before I was even out of the dental chair (which I was in for 2+ hours) the dental assistant handed me a heavy duty pain pill (800 mg. Tylenol) - I slipped it in my pocket. The dentist gave me 6 more plus a prescription for a pain killer. As soon as I got in my car I rinsed my mouth with and swallowed a solution of LGP and water and took 3 Quantum Vitamin C to help flush out the anesthetic. I came home and rested and consumed more LGP and extra Enzymes Complete throughout the day and evening. The next morning my jaw was tender to the touch, but NO pain. I didn’t even think about taking a pain pill. For 5 days following the surgery I consumed LGP 4-5 times a day and then I returned to my normal 2 scoops once a day.
During the entire procedure I took NO pain pills, NO antibiotics, and NO drugs AND I had absolutely NO pain. When I went in to have the stitches removed the periodontist said I was “healing very well.” At this point I told him I had not taken any of the prescriptions and he was surprised that I had not experienced any pain. I’ve been taking Frequency Foods products for a year now and have seen some great results, although some were a little unexpected. Last year I "blew out" my ACL (Anterior Crucial Ligament) during karate while sparring. The ACL in the knee can blow out a few different ways. It can tear, either totally or partially, or it can get so completely stretched out, like it did with me, that it is not functional anymore. Last October, I faced the reality that I had to have ACL reconstructive surgery because my knee went out all the time (i.e., just lightly jogging across the street).
At the time of my surgery, I was only taking a couple of Frequency Foods products – mainly the Life Giving Probiotics (which are a godsend) and the Quantum Vitamin C (which is more potent than I realized. Keep reading). In preparation for the big day, I made sure that I was consistently taking all my supplements and getting plenty of rest. Even so, three of our four family members are in the public school system and frequently bring home any virus that crosses their paths, and since I have a crashed immune system, I ended up getting a virus. I felt it coming on a week before my surgery. I started to get a little stuffy at night and more tired during the day.
I called my mother in a panic and told her that my doctor said that if I was too congested for a general anesthetic that the anesthesiologist would have to perform a spinal on me as an alternative and I would be awake for the surgery. Well, my mother proceeded to tell me of the possible side effects of having a spinal and they didn’t sound pleasant. Then she told me that I should consider taking the Frequency Foods Enzymes Complete, especially between meals, because the enzymes will actually clean my blood and help get rid of viruses. I’m not much into taking a lot of pills. I don’t care if they are good for me or not, but I was desperate. I should have been taking closer to 50 enzymes per day, but I was fortunate to find the time to get 25 down me, and that’s just a maintenance dosage.
Within a couple of days, I noticed that I could breathe at night without medications. I kept up with the enzymes up to surgery day and beyond, along with all my other supplements. The surgery went beautifully! I was able to have my femur block and general anesthetic.
It is generally recommended to cease taking Vitamin C two days before having surgery that requires an anesthetic, because if you are getting a good source of Vitamin C that can be easily utilized by the body, then it can have the adverse effect of making it harder for anesthesia to work on you. I found out after the surgery was over that the anesthesiologist had to give me twice the dosage on the femur block, because it did not take effect when it should have. I even stopped taking my Quantum Vitamin C a couple days before the surgery! Now that’s potent, especially considering that I’m very sensitive to drugs in general!
I continued to take the Frequency Foods Enzymes Complete, Quantum Vitamin C and Life Giving Probiotics, along with my other supplements during my recovery. Normal recovery time for an ACL reconstruction is 6-12 months for full usage of the knee. When I went in for my 3-week post op, my doctor told me that the incisions on my knee were healing so well, that if he didn’t know any better, he would have said that it looked like I was at least 6 weeks post surgery. At 2 months, my doctor said that it looked like I was recovering much faster than the average person and I should be able to run by my third month.
Well, it has been almost five months since I had my surgery done, and not only am I running, but I’m also doing yoga and advance step aerobics! I have no doubt in my mind that if I did not have the Frequency Foods products to help me through that difficult time, the surgery would have been much harder and the recovery time much longer. A day or two after speaking with you, I had finished my round of antibiotics (which didn't help me much) and began immediately on the Life Giving Probiotics and Total Food (at least once a day in my fresh juice). I also began taking the Quantum Vitamin C, one capsule, twice daily. Within a couple of days, my body made this huge leap from feeling terrible to feeling about 85%. It was amazing! I hit a plateau for almost a week, where I wasn't getting much better than that, but I definitely wasn't getting any worse.
After that, I have noticed that I have been making small improvements daily. My cough is practically gone (that was the worst part), and my chest and throat feel clear of all the gunk that plagued me for so long! Today is the day after the end of Lent, and I remember joking with my sister that I gave up my health for Lent. I think, for the most part, I have it back now. I feel about 98%. I've been dealing with some allergy issues, but the virus is not a problem anymore, and I'm almost ready to go back to karate. The thing I noticed most today is the amount of energy I have, even though I've been sneezing because of the allergens in the air.
I'm still building up my immune system, which crashed a few years ago from stress, lack of exercise and poor diet, so I won't go completely crazy with exercise for a while yet, but I can't wait to attack all the stuff that I want to, and used to do. In November of 2002, as I was being prepped for carpel tunnel surgery, it was discovered that I had an irregular heartbeat. I went to a cardiologist, and was prescribed three drugs. I tried them one at a time, and quickly dismissed two of them. The third one I stayed on for awhile, even though my feet swelled and I felt kind of out of it. In April of 2003, I started on Frequency Foods.

If I were stranded on a deserted island and could have only one Frequency Foods product, it would be Enzymes Complete. I would like to tell you why I am so fond of this product. I had been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis several years ago. This is a very painful form of arthritis which attacked my sacrum iliac joint first and then moved viciously through my body, attacking other joints. Many victims eventually experience fusion of some of their joints. I had my first major attack when I was 25 years old. I am 54 now.
I prayed about my health and over the years I felt led to change my diet. If I was very careful with my diet, I could remain almost pain free. Eventually I found out about Frequency Foods and started taking some of their products. I began to detoxify. I began to have pain in some of my joints. One of the products that I took was Enzymes Complete. I felt like this was the product that was causing the pain. I did not understand at the time that this was a good thing, that my body was actually detoxifying. I should have called the nutritional consultants at Frequency Foods and found out why this was happening. Instead I decided to stop taking all of the products - the Total Food, Quantum C, Green Garden and Enzymes Complete. For a few weeks, I indulged in sugar, chocolate, coffee, tea, pork, shellfish and whatever else that I wanted to eat. I ate lots of the wrong foods. And sure enough, I started experiencing joint pain. So, I increased my Enzymes Complete. I started taking 10 on an empty stomach once or twice a day. That was in addition to the 5 that I took with meals. I noticed that I could eat the junk food without being crippled with pain as long as I took at least 10 enzymes between meals on an empty stomach. Last August I attended a conference in Arizona, where I was helping my friends with their adobe block booths. While one of the employees was securing a container a short distance away, a bungee cord flew off the container and slammed against my breast. In lieu of a retainer, at night I wear a contraption known as a mouth guard. Mouth guards are used for several reasons including TMJ and grinding teeth. Over a period time, these mouth guards get a little “skuzzy.” The traditional method for cleaning mouth guards is to use denture cleaner. I am about to share a testimony that many of you will doubt, but I can assure you that what I am reporting was fully, medically, documented. My husband had not been feeling well. The doctor examined him and found that he required surgery due to a faulty valve in his heart. But, before they could do open heart surgery they had found the lung was collapsing due to a cancerous tumor. They could only remove part of it. It was determined that the only way to get the rest of it, which was in the wall of the lung, was to remove the top half of my husband’s lung. We had several different doctors involved. By all accounts, we are lucky that our kitten made it! His name is Ernie and from the time he was born, he had a tough life. Diagnosed with “mega-colon”, Ernie suffered from chronic constipation.
